WHAT IS A Connector?
Peer Connections Connectors are upper years students with a passion for improving the experience of new students to the program. Each Connector will mentor 2-4 new B+MM students throughout the year, providing guidance and academic assistance with their B+MM courses. Having someone to reach out to for help is an invaluable asset as a new student to our program.
WHAT IS A CONNECTEE?
The Peer Connections program provides new B+MM students with a Connector that can help them with their B+MM courses. Connectors are here to help build a strong support network for Connectees to use to succeed in our program.
HOW IT WORKS
NOTE: A B+MMSA MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED TO JOIN THE PEER CONNECTIONS PROGRAM
Connectors are typically third or fourth-year students. They are given a group of two - four Connectees, who are typically first or second-year students. Connectees have the opportunity to ask their Connector for guidance in the B+MM program, attend social events together, organize study sessions and create a strong B+MM community.
Peer Connections also hosts a number of program exclusive events throughout the year for all Connectors and Connectees to attend. Here they have the opportunity to network, socialize, study or get support from others in the program.
