PEER CONNECTIONS IS
THE B+MMSA'S MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
We pair upper-year students with new students to provide them with the support they need to succeed
APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
Peer Connections Connectors are upper years students with a passion for improving the academic experiences of new students to the program. Each Connector will mentor 2-4 new B+MM students throughout the year, providing guidance and academic assistance with their B+MM courses. Having someone to reach out to for help is an invaluable asset as a new student to our program; if you’d like to be that person, click here! Connector applications close on September 22nd.
The Peer Connections program provides new B+MM students with a Connector that can help them with their B+MM courses. Connectors are here to help build a strong support network for Connectees to use to succeed in our program. If you’d like to register as a Connectee, and be matched up with a Connector, click here! Connectee applications close on September 22nd.
HOW IT WORKS
Connectors are typically third or fourth-year students. They are given a group of two - four Connectees, who are typically first or second-year students. Connectees have the opportunity to ask their Connector for help with courses (which the Connector will have already completed), and Connectors are encouraged to organize their own study sessions.
Peer Connections also hosts a number of events throughout the year for all Connectors and Connectees to attend. Here they have the opportunity to network and study. This year, there will be two events per semester: one at the beginning and one at the end.
